Dussehra Celebration

08 October 2019

A Special Assembly was conducted on Dussehra by the students of Primary Section. The students raised the slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and everyone enjoyed the programme which included prayer, bhajan, Ram stuti and a presentation on why we celebrate Dussehra. In the end the effigy of Ravana was burnt to reinforce the message that good always triumphs of evil. It also glorifies the victory of Lord Ram over Ravana.

Hindi Saptah 2019

The staff and students of Lucknow Public School, South City, celebrated Hindi Saptah from 14th September to 20th September 2019 as a mark of acknowledgement of Hindi as a National Language. Special assemblies were organized where different activities were taken up. On 14th sept Kavya Sammelan, 17th sept Doha Vachan, 18th sept Debate Competition, 19th sept Kavya Natika, 20th Hindi Language Quiz.

Teacher's Day Celebration

Lucknow Public School, South City celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5th Sept. 2019 in the school premises with zeal and zest. There was a special morning assembly conducted by the students to show their gratitude towards the teachers. There was a melodious medley sung by the students, thanking the teachers, which was followed by a mesmerizing musical presentation of the primary wing students.

Independence Day Celebration

Lucknow Public School , South City celebrated the 73th Independence Day of the nation with zeal and fervor. With the unfurling of the majestic Tri Colour National Flag by the principal of the school, the National anthem echoed in a unison making the ambience come alive with patriotism among not only the tiny tots with flags in their hands but also the teachers and parents Present there.

LPS, South City celebrated its annual function on 1st, 2nd and 9th Feb. 2019 with enthusiasm and zeal. On 9th Feb. 2019, once again the annual day of senior students was organized in the Arunodaya Auditorium of LPS, Sector-I. The chief guest of the evening was Shri Anil Garg, Commissioner, Lucknow. Manager of Lucknow Public Schools Lokesh Singh, the principal of the all branches and members of the management committee were present to witness the programme on the theme ‘Darpan’.

Annual Day One/Two "Rainbow" Celebration

Annual function is the most awaited programme. This year we have celebrated it on a theme of colours called “Rainbow”. Rainbow was a skit focussing the importance of different colours. Each colour has showcased in a unique way either in form of dance or dance drama. It has also depicted a beautiful message “Unity in Diversity”. The glorious programme ended with the dance of Do re mi…once again showcasing the union of seven notes making the world sound melodious.

Annual Sports Meet of Primary Wings 2018-2019

The Lucknow Public School, South City organized its Annual Sports Meet of the Primary Wing on 19th January 2019. The meet commenced with the synchronized March Past and the Manager Lokesh Singh took the salute of the impressive march past of the students coupled with stirring marching music by the band. Mother's Day is celebrated in honor of the mothers. It is celebrated every year in India and in some other countries on 2nd Sunday of May.Anna Jarvis, the founder of Mother's Day suggested the idea of celebrating Mother's Day in honor of mothers and motherhood in 1907. She succeeded in making this nationally recognized in 1914. On this day people used to honor their mothers who have a great contribution in their lives and for whom they exist in this world.

Henry Dunant was the founder of the Red Cross as well as the founder of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), born in the Geneva in the year 1828.
